Die Dichtung wird auf die gewellten Platten geklebt. Sie sind in einer 2-Pass-Dichtungsstruktur mit Signallöcher. Wenn das Medium aus der 1. Dichtung austritt, wenn es aus dem Signalloch austritt. Sie werden Probleme früher erkennen und damit umgehen. Es kommt zu keiner Medienvermischung und es kommt nicht zu einer Vermischung der Medien. Die Dichtungen werden aus verschiedenen Gummiarten hergestellt, die an unterschiedliche Medien und Betriebstemperaturen angepasst sind.
